Reading. Writing. Simply being.

Review of Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness by Erik Larson

I’m going to make this short and sweet.   The story of Holmes’ killing rampage has little to do with the Chicago Fair–so little, that it shouldn’t have even been included in this book.  If you like engineering, read it.  If not, skip it.  On a positive note, I admire the fact that Larson used only print sources for his research as this would have taken an immense amount of time.  And, his research was excellent.Unknown
